Chocolate crackles- solid to liquid and back to solid!

We also made chocolate crackles with the help of Miss Bortolin.

Min this experiment we were investigating whether heating and cooling changes the state of matter for chocolate and butter.

This experiment had changes of state! We melted butter and chocolate using heat. They melted at different speeds but both became liquids when heated. We then mixed the butter and chocolate with cocoa puffs and refrigerated the mixture in patty pans. After cooking the chocolate crackles becam solid again!

It was a delicious experiment with most students rating the finished product 9 or 10 out of 10 and they only received one 0/10 .
